Beech Lake Apartments Food Drive!


It’s that time of the year to say “Thanks”.

October 9th,2013-November 18th,2013

We here at Beech Lake believe in giving back. We feel that it is our duty to help the less fortunate, especially this time of year.  I know that together we can make a great impact in the community! So let’s take a moment and think about how many people can be fed if we collect 800 items. Please place whatever food or personal hygiene items in this bag and drop it off at the leasing office. Your contributions will be taken to the Durham Rescue Mission on November 18, 2013.

As an added incentive to give, you will receive one raffle ticket per item donated. At the end of the food drive one ticket will be chosen at random. The winning ticket is good for $100.00 off of December’s rent! The more you donate the better chance you have to win! We will announce the winner on our community blog on November 25th.

Items most needed: Canned meats, canned vegetables, pasta and pasta sauce, soup,

dried beans, canned fruit, rice, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, grits and oatmeal packets.

 

Personal Hygiene: Toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss, deodorant, razors and shaving cream, soap and shampoo, lotion, washcloths, feminine products, diapers, blankets, space heaters, box fans. All non-perishable items are appreciated.

 

*Please drop off all items in the leasing office by 6:00 pm on Monday, November 18th.

**Please remember that donated items cannot be opened, expired or contain any alcohol at all.
