We are extremely sorry to report that repairs to the broken water main will not be completed today. Water will be back on as soon as the city turns it on. Some buildings may continue to experience low pressure this evening. We made the decision to try again tomorrow in order to minimize the amount of time the water is turned off. We apologize for the continued disruption in water pressure and service. It is a unfortunate necessity to complete the repairs properly.
What does that mean? Fixed or not?
ReplyDeleteIt means those that have low pressure will have wimpy showers and our toilets take forever or do not fill up on their own (at least experiencing that). And that no, it is not fixed- they are choosing to work on it over more days than planned, but stopping that work within the timeframe (on again before 6pm) that they originally intended.
ReplyDeleteWhat water pressure? What wimpy shower? Toilet flush what's that? The city whoever needs to be keep fixing it 24-7 till its fixed.
ReplyDeleteGoing to the hotel to take showers and use the restroom. 80.00 pit stop.....that's after we spent 20 bucks on water to flush the toilets
Building 11 has nothing. Has had no water since Sunday night. I thought 6pm-9am supposed to be on??!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think they should have tried to find area hotels that would give really good discounts, or get the YMCA to let people come shower etc...
ReplyDeleteIt's awful! I was hoping by some miracle it would be on this morning at 7am like it's suppose to be...my out of town guest has now gone to a hotel
ReplyDeleteStayed at hotel last but can't afford two nights plus eating eating out three meals a day.
ReplyDeleteIs their any legal recourse for this?
I would say check with a lawyer. I am following up with mine. Because the lack of responsibility on Beech Lakes management. However, will there be some discount or some monies taken off our water bill or rent for this inconvenience?
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor said this is like the 4th time the water had to be shut off since she lived here.
