Winter Weather Precaution Advisory!

Residents of Beech Lake;

There is currently a winter weather supply shortage (ie: salt) and therefore we will not be able to treat the property in preparation for the weather. We will do our best to work with what we have in stock.

 In lieu of our supply shortage we ask that you all take extreme precaution when venturing out on the property.

In the event that your power goes out, please be patient and call Duke Energy (1-800-726-3853) for updates on when it will be restored.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Beech Lake Management

Important Reminder-Please Read Carefully

To all residents of Beech Lake Apartments:                                                                             February 2014

Please be sure that when you are away, your windows are closed and locked as well as your sliding glass door/patio. If you have a sliding glass door, please check to be sure the Charlie Bar is fully functional and will close across the glass. If you have any concerns about the functioning of the Charlie Bar, please contact maintenance. You are able to do this online through your resident portal. (Please call the office with questions about accessing your resident portal.)

We recommend that you get to know your neighbors and always lock your apartment door/ patio doors and windows whenever you are inside your apartment and whenever you leave your apartment. Always keep your windows securely latched. Please close all blinds when you are not at home.

We also suggest that you contact your insurance agent and maintain insurance coverage for your personal belongings in case of theft.

Keep your car doors locked at all times. Do not leave any electronics or valuables in your car. This includes chargers for your GPS or phones. Take your things inside where they can not be seen.

If you see a crime occurring, you need to immediately call 911. Failure to do so could result in crucial delays. After first notifying local law enforcement authorities, you should then contact the apartment answering service, the management office or other appropriate onsite personnel.

We urge all residents to double-check to make sure all existing locks and latches are working and to notify us immediately if these security devices are not working.

As you can appreciate, while we care about your safety and security, no one can ensure your safety or the security of your personal items.

Please remember that your security is your responsibility and that of the local law enforcement agencies. If you see suspicious activity call 911 and report it. Do not wait.

We thank you for your prompt attention to these matters. Please contact the office with any questions or concerns you may have.
